To answer an old debate, the original dashpads in the Emberglo cars were not Emberglo color, they were a burgandy/dark emberglo color. I removed the original one from my car and still have it for reference.

I mistakenly dyed a new red pad Emberglo and installed it before discovering the unaged portion of my original pad. I decided not to correct it, as I like the Emberglo pad better anyway.

That's correct. But, they look so much better dyed Emberglow ::. Which brings me to a question...how does one die a parchment dash to match the Emberglow (say the sunvisors)? I need to do this...

My confusion came years ago when I asked a certain Gold Card Judge from North Carolina this very question. His answer was "emberglo, of course". *sigh*

Goody, my favorite debate! You guys take all the fun out of it by agreeing. I am so petty that I even collect pictures of original interiors to show the doubters. This subject is way more important for me than that whole Global War on Terrorism thing. :D
