I'm looking for the cresent-shaped piece that sits against the shoe (obviously in the drum) in which the emergency brake cable attaches to. It's not in the npd catalog and my local ford dealer does not have it. I went to a bunch of bone yards, but they only had the ones for smaller drums. Any suggestions?
Also, what other model cars have this same usable part? Thanks - Chris

Virginia Classic Mustang has the hardware kit that has it, but it has everything else too and I don't see them selling it separately. The kit is around $22.

You can get brake shoe self adjuster kits from most of the parts vendors. You could also go to your local auto parts store and get these. Mustangs Unlimited has them listed for $13.95 per wheel. Includes adj. lever, cable guide, cable and the adjuster starwheel itself.

I would try Bob Hendrick ... I think his handle is "mustangerbob" he is in texas. I found his prices good, product of good quality and nothing bad to say. I bought some brake parts from him, when I was having trouble sourcing them from NPD, Mustangs Unlimited and The Paddock... good luck doug
