I have a 68 convert. The Emergency Flasher Relay has gone bad. Does anyone know where it is or did Ford just put it where ever they could find a spot? I found the Blinker Relay mounted on top of the steering column and I can access it by removing the ashtray. My repair book says it is either behind the glove box (Cannot find it there) or on top of the fuse panel. On top of my fuse panel is a rectangle connector about as long as the fuse panel x 1/2 high and 1/2 inch thick. It has an 90 degree angle connector and that is it. The problem is my wiring diagram shows the Emergency Flasher having red-white and white-red as the wires but this connector has green and green and green-purple. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated ::

I found mine on my 69 sportsroof to the right of the radio, a/c controls. Found it while replacing the radio, it was in a clip being held by the duct work.
