I'm looking for some specific paint recommendations for the
eng bay color. I've tried one "semi gloss" black that is too
glossy. One of the catalogs show a Krylon #1612 for chasis
and misc. My references indicate "chasis black". I would
prefer something between primer and gloss. What's the
best brand and color I can find in my neighborhood?
Thanks.

I went to a body shop today, and got a black they called GM Black. It's supposed to be a semi-gloss.

You could also use Eastwood's "Under Hood Black"
I just did my '67 bay with it and it's beautiful!
