I am planning on pulling the engine for a rebuild this spring and also detail the engine bay. As you can see by the pic the block is black and the air cleaner and valve covers are gold, but on closer inspection and after bead blasting the air cleaner it is obvious that the original color was blue. I know that the engine is original to the car and the build date is
May 18 1965- Dearborn assembly plant. Is this early enough to still be blue? If so what is the correct blue?
Thanks
