I have a question about the correct color for my 1970 Mach 1 (351C) engine. Who ever rebuilt it before I got the car painted it dark blue. I ordered a can of corporate blue from NPD and did a test and it is slightly different. The label on the can says "65-68 corporate blue engine". I'm going to re-spray the engine but my question is, many of the cars I see have a much lighter blue color. Which is correct for my 1970? also, I have seen many cars that have the air cleaner a different color than the block (again light blue). Mine came with the shaker, and it needs to be re-painted. As long as I'm asking, anybody know if the voltage regulator for my car is the light blue one or the black one? Thanks for the help.

Ditzler DDL 13358 which is a lacquer, or DAR 13358 for an enamel.

Plasti-Kote #224 if you want to spray paint. Not really "correct" but very close.

I believe that it's suppose to be the lighter blue.
