Need to replace the various decals located in the engine compartment on a '68 GT500. Can someone provide me a rundown of the decals and where they are suppose to go. Photos or measurement details would be greatly appreciated.
68 Metuchen GT 500, Service decal and emmision decal on drivers side shock tower. Battery decal on passenger front apron above battery. No FAN decal on shroud. KR's have air cleaner decals, someone else might pipe in on their placement.
There is no tire pressure decal in the engine compartment and the fan decal was the result of lawsuits a few years later and sent out to all Ford owners to apply - after the fact so it should not be there
Tire pressure decal goes in glove box. Emmission decal top should be just about where the headlight harness wiring/washer hose cross the tower. Service decal directly under it, 1/2" to 1" space between the two. Remember these were slapped on by assembly line workers. Not an exact science.
