What difference would be noticed in performance (normal street driving) between a 351 4V and a 351 2V? (ok Charles, since I'm trying to sound savvy, between an M-code and an H-code)?

Ultimate performance would likely be better with the 4V engine but IMO, the 2V engine is more driveable in everyday use....

Bottom end torque would be better with the 2V....and it would work better with an automatic and stock gears...

Note, I'm describing a 2V which has been retrofitted with an aftermarket 4V manifold designed to work with its smaller ports and a carb in the 600-650 cfm range

Having said that, IMO the 4V's have more total performance potential in stock form and are somewhat rarer and more valuable....
