I'm getting ready to swap from a 6cyl. to a 289 in my 65 coupe, am i wrong to think that its a easy swap, having to change basically the motor mounts, radiator, and coil springs. Hopefully these are the only major items. If anyone has any more info.that could help me I would sure apreciate it.

Along with the springs (front) you sould also do spindles and steering linkage (centerlink, tie rods, pitman, idler arm). A V8 rear end and driveshaft, and you will also have to re-route the fuel line. Good luck, it isn't "that" bad.

To add to above, throttle linkage, motor support brackets, bell housing, flexplate, torque converter, starter, pulleys, brackets, etc..
