Hi guy's,
Sorry if this has been covered before, but i have just found the engine tag which was taken off it a few years ago now, and i need to know the exact location it goes as i want to put it back.
Can someone tell me the bolt which it goes under please.

Thankyou Ian.

For the 289 V8 it is held on by itself with a short hex
head bolt to the intake manifold in front of the carburetor.

I just went to check my MCA Rules on this and it says:64 1/2 V8 is under temp sender, '65 V8 is on PASSENGER side, 66 V8 is on DRIVER SIDE, 6 cylinder is at coil mount bracket to block, hope this helps!! BTW: Where in England are you located?, my Wife has family in Manchester....

The above is correct. There should bolt hole on the original FORD 289 manifold that looks "useless". That's what it bolts to. The rear of the tag should be facing forward so as if you were leaning over the passenger side of the car and reading it from the firewall toward the radiator.
