Just wondering which is easier, installing the tranny (fmx) first and then the engine or hooking up the engine to the tranny and placing both at the same time. I've done it both ways with other engine/trans combo's but someone told me that an fmx and 351C are too heavy to place together and the angle needed to clear the trans tunnel is a problem. What are most Vmf guys doing?

I Always seem to install and remove engine with automatics as unit..... but don't follow my example I typically do them by myself. Think you'll find that its easier to do them as two pieces ;)

Ive gone both ways and found that I prefer engine and transmission as separated. I think it really depends on high your hoist can operate from, the higher the better with one piece installation.
