What's going on guys! Glad to be back on the website.

I'm such a purist that it is hard for me to not try to restore original parts. Your car is only original once such I try to reuse everything I can. Here are the tie rods I rebuilt. Notice the blue mark on the end of the outer tie rod? It could be blue RTV but thought it was cool that the assembler who made these so long ago still had his mark on this tie rod. I made sure not to clean it off and installed a NOS boot over it. They aren't perfect but I'm happy with how they turned out and even more happy they are original to the kar.

Update: body prep, seam sealer, engine paint and dash paint progress. Next is sound deadener and continued paint prep

note:when I was in Greenland for a year I had my kar primered to keep it from flash rusting. Therefore I had to sand down the radiator support to add my kar’s hidden codes and repaint over it.

Is that Lizard skin in the wheelweels?

Also your engine compartment sheen looks dead on, what dd you use?
Yes it’s lizard skin. Also the engine bay paint is this one:
