I picked up a 64.5 convertible recently and all the glass except the windshield has the Carlite emblem. Where I would expect it to be stamped 'Carlite', it has 'DUPLATE', 'PPG', 'FD', 'AT' and '2360'.
Am I correct in thinking this is not original glass? Has anyone ever heard of Duplate glass? The car has been off the road and not touched for about 15 years. Thanks.

PPG is the manufacturer and yes it is not original.

Duplate is the type of glass.
