Did you guys and gals catch this article? Just read the article in Motor Trend magazine about it..
5.8L V-10 DOHC 4 valve per cyl,cast aluminum block and heads.
HP @ RPM 430 @ 6500
Torque @ RPM 405 @ 5500
6 speed manual
weight approx. 3565 lbs.
0-60 mph 4.4
1/4 mile 12.88 @ 114.44
EPA mpg WHO CARES
Base price ?
Only one built ......
One might think it would pull closer to a 12 in the quarter.

I sounds neat and a V-10 would be cool, but wouldn't they be better off with a V-8. The numbers seem to be similiar to a big V8. If you just want a lot of cylinders, why not a V12 or V16. If could be the cylinder wars from the 30's all over again.

The postings go by so fast, I can't keep up. I would suppose the lower end would be sluggish, but what a top- end!!!!

for what im sure it costs, those quarter mile times dont impress me...buy an o3 cobra and equal those numbers for only 34k

The article said the engine wasn't ready in time for the new Ford GT, so they used the 5.4L V-8 instead. The article also said the car was traction limited, nothing new with Mustangs. My impression of the engine was that it had gobs of torque.
