I have to replace the rear axle assem in SWMBO'S 99 Explorer Sport, & I will have the calipers & caliper brackets from the rear I am installing & was wondering if they can be used to do a rear disc conversion on my 69 Coupe?

I bought an explorer rear disk kit from Currie for the 9" that I got from them. I do not recall the particulars, but I want to say there was something they had to know before they built the housing to be able to use the explorer kit. I want to say it was somehting about the flanges. I would give them a call, here is a link to their kit, Link

Here is what it was that I needed for the kit to work:
PLEASE NOTE: This kit will only fit on rearends with that are equipped with Torino style late model large bearing housing ends and aftermarket axles with a 2.500" brakespace offset.
