Does anyone have a list of how many 65-73's came with a factory sunroof? Specifically 66 coupes? Thanks

I have seen a '66 HT many years ago at a Kansas City show w/ a vintage aftermarket sunroof.

Not to hijack the post, but I always thought t-tops in/on a 67/8 F.B. would look cool.

Let the flaming begin! :burnout:

I came across this photo a little while ago, which I thought was a Ford ad photo.

Some previous owner had installed a sun roof in my fastback, and the then, someone did a horrible job patching it. There was almost an inch of filler near the drip rails!

It was a big job to replace the entire roof skin.

List? Not that I've heard of. the Sunroofs where installed after complete assembly by ASC in California.
The flip up glass types are a middle to late 1970's thing.
The metal door type that you crank back started being installed in 1968. And yes, most were installed in Cougars, but, the fellow that painted my Shelby in the mid-1980's had a 68 Fastback with the metal door type installed. It was the ASC type.

Sorry to inject practicality. The modern slide back type sunroof uses about 1" of interior headroom.

For even average men, say 5'11" interior space, legroom and head room is already limited!
