Another question~
my son bought a used fan shroud for his Mach I. I believe it has been painted. What is the best way to remove the paint? Should it be painted again and if so, what is a good paint and color to use?

The shrouds were not painted originally and once they are it's hard to get it off. Except for where it's peeling ofcourse. Might try some ScotchBrite Pads and see what happens, then shoot it with some Krylon #1613. Or if you can get someone to sandblast it lightly to get the paint off, then ScotchBrite and shoot with a clear, low gloss spray paint. It'll never look right though. Try and find a new repo if they're available.

I had to repa[nt the shroud for the small block that was is my car. I sanded it down with scotchbrite pads, washed it with soap and water. After it was dry I sprayed it with some plastic bumper paint that I got at PEP BOYS. It looked like new, again.
