Fan, tranny cooler and I have a headache

The fan thing
I have a Derale looking electric fan with a 12 inch blade. It really blows the air but I haven't been running it solo and I have no idea how many cfm's it puts out. Until now I have left my rigid blade fan on the water pump. I would just use the electric fan between runs or sometimes I needed to fire it up idling in the pits waiting to go because my temp would want to creep up while idling. The fan motor on my electric is not a pancake style and its really long which makes the fan thick. Because of this It will only fit in front of my radiator. I just took my rigid blade fan off to see if I could offset the electric fan and fit it behind the radiator but no joy.

The tranny cooler thing
I have a B & M cooler that is a foot square and mounts in front of the radiator. Obviously, I can't use this in front of the radiator now because I now have an electric fan sitting there. I went and got a Permacool frame rail type trans cooler but I'm not sure if it will cool enough because its only 20" x 2.5" x .75" thick(2 rows of tube). It also has some big round ends on it and theres no way my hook up hoses will fit on those. If I use the frame rail cooler I will have to adapt it somehow. If I use the B & M cooler I will have to find an electric fan that is less than 3 inches thick that will fit behind my radiator and still pull enough air to keep the thing cool. I could get by with exactly 3 inches thick if I cut some off my water pump shaft stub.

What do I do with all this mess?
