I finally got the engine timing set but that seems to have thrown the fast idle out of whack. When I set the choke and start the car, it idles at 2000 rpms until the engine warms up. At first I thought it was the choke, but the adjustment seems to be fine. There is a red lever behind the choke housing, and when I press it down, the idle retuns to normal. Any clues on what might be wrong, and if it is the fast idle any clues on how to adjust it. Its a Holley 1850 carb Thanks Dave

Never mind, I was on Holleys website, and I found a diagram of my carb, and found the fast idle adjustment screw that didn't show up in my holley book.
