After much help from everyone here, the newly rebuilt engine and tranny was bolted in place this weekend. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, now. I just hope it isn't a train.
Congrats! I know how you feel, my 67 is in the shop right now, getting the body work finished, the new hood and front fascia installed, new battery tray area rewelded in, then painted. when finished I can drive it for the first time since I have owned it, other than to and from body shop. As you say," I can see the light at the end of the tunnel." Again, congrats, it will be fun to drive them soon..........
As previously said, congrats. I am about 1/2 or 1 step ahead of you, as mine is supposed to be fired over today. Will be only the second time in 9 months that I have driven it, and there has been plenty of good weather....I spent 11 hours underneath the car on Saturday trying to get everything ready. Damn the E-brake and the lowering kit.....Oh well, it will be worth it when I get to drive it today... Enjoy!
