Guys,

Any ideas on how I can fix this? Looks like the previous owner cut out a section to make it easier to fit. It's going to cost me close to $50.00 to replace it by the time I factor in shipping and duties (Canada).

Looking at options to fill that space with something?? It may not look the greatest, but the rubber is still very pliable.

I'd try to build up layers of RTV since these 2 legs aren't designed to be joined at this point. The cut at the end of the legs is there to help install it into the firewall. Just spread these legs then run 1/8" thick bead of RTV on each leg. After it cures completely, I'd keep adding beads (after letting them cure) until they just touched when the cut at the end of the legs was closed.

There's actually a section of rubber missing. I'd put a couple of plastic plugs in the holes, and fill the remaining gap with urethane or similar material.
