Stock they would all be the same (1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8
). BUT, if someone changed the camshaft, they could possibly install one that was for a 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 order...in which case you'd have to reorder the wires to make it run right.

351W cams can also be swapped in, which have the late-model firing order.
I've seen that done a couple of times.

Factory 302s didn't change their firing order until 1982 HO engine debuted.

I seem to recall many of the aftermarket cam companies use the 351W firing order but i may be wrong.
