Got a PO moment of genious happening here: a sunroof hole in the roof of my mach. Just wondering what you guys would recommend for a fix? I've had some bodymen tell me they can patch it, others suggest using a whole skin and yet others say to cut the roof and put a donor one on?

Hi, the best way is to cut it off and replace the roof even if the body shop is good it is still more work to patch than to replace Mine had a sunroof when I got it what a job. John

If it were me, I think I would have a to-fit patch welded in by someone who is really hot with their bodywork, then refinish. Not only is removing the entire roof a lot of work, but you really need to have someone there doing this right to keep the structural integrity. Not to mention that a fastback roof is more involved than would be a coupe.
