Hello all.

It's been a while since I been on since I've been working so much. I'm finally getting to putting in the new floor pans and have a few questions.
First of all, how do I gauge where the full floor pan goes? Is there a bolt hole, weld or anything else I should use as a bearing? Keep in mind that I'm also putting in new rear floor pans and the fire wall to floor pan section as well.
Second, how in the heck do the back section of the full floor pan and the rear floor pan match up? Do I need to fabricate anything to fill a void or do I just get a bigger hammer to make them match?

Slowly but surely the rust bucket is turning into a beautiful Fastback. WooWhoo!

I'll be sure to post pictures of my attempt(s) at floor pan welding.
Thanks all for the help. I have about 5,300 post to read now.

This is an excellent overview Bullit! I'm doing the floor pans on my '67 Coupe right after I finish replacing a section of the front rail on the battery side, the fender apron above it, the rad support and the crossmember. Your pics will be helpful, thanks.
