I bought some long floor pans for my car. they look great but I am confused. On the origanal floor pans the side lip that attaches to the rocker frame goes up towards the roof. On the floor boards I got the lip goes down. Is this normal? or do I need to bend the lip up

coupe and convertible pans are different in that way. I think you got convertible pans.

From what I've heard here on VMF, all the long pans come that way. You'll have to bend the pan edges 180* or use as is.

The pans Dickson brought over for the coupe had the lips turned up.

Can't remember which way mine went, but I know I re-bent them.
It's just one of those things.
