I have a 72 FB with the standard rear seat. Does anyone know if you can convert this set up to a rear fold down seat set up. I am sure anything can be done as I am in the middle of a restoration. How big a job, what needs to be done and what parts are needed? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

First you need to get all the parts from a fold down car...

Includes-
2 rear fold down panels
1 trap door
1 folding rear seat section
1 panel that goes behind the seat to fill the space(on floor)
2 support bars that go in the existing place where you
standard back seat looks like an X frame You would have to
cut that area out
1 fold down latch that mounts to the wheel well.

All in all it should not be hard to do but the fold down pieces get pricey.... so you have to weigh if its worth doing or not.

On everyones favorite auction site the complete fold down set up is usually up for auction.
