Fomoco or Rotunda

Which of the names were parts sold under first? Fomoco or Rotunda? Just curious.

I always had to laugh at the name rotunda.......

ROTUNDA BUNDA!!!! when she sits around the house, she sits AROUND THE HOUSE!!

Rotunda and Autolite were Ford brand names, but Autolite got sold out, and Rotunda was kept around for a while longer. FoMoCo came in about the same time, mid- to late 60's, IIRC.

Rotunda is still used by Ford, all the tools in the tool catalog say Rotunda and they all come in a Rotunda marked plastic box. Even the electrical tools have a Rotunda sticker on them no matter who made it.
