What dipstick designed the doors on my '67? Does anyone know the "easy" way to get all of the guts out? (i.e. windows, hardware etc...)

http://my67heven.tripod.com/emsm.gifI was looking for a restoration of fantasy. I do not want my car to be as it was in 1967. I want it to be as I imagined it in 1967. -John Baird

Yeah the easy way is to pay somebody to do it for you. But a poor guy like myself will have to wrestle with it.
Just to be safe put some "windlace" on the inner door openings behind the panel. IT's really sharp and somtimes rusty. Not good!!

You do realize you spelled genius wrong, right?

Can't help with the doors, haven't gotten that far yet.

And being current with your tetanus shot is a good idea too. I've always wondered how you get the window regulator with the built in scissor arm assembly out of a '67 door. The '65s are separate units but the regulator is still a PITA to wrestle out.

I am not aware of an easy way. There is a way to remove the glass a little easier and it had something to do with angling the glass just right. I can't remember the trick to it but if you have too much trouble I can look it up for you.

Yup, Genious was an intentional mistake symbolizing the lack thereof.

Take the side vent windows out first. Probably looks harder that way, but really is easier. The rest comes out much easier. Trying to wrestle the side glass out first is a real pain.
