What I'm looking for regarding parts decoding are the individual group numbers in detail from 1000-19C705-9. I know 9400-9499, for example, are manifolds, thermostats and emissions, but I need what the individual numbers represent. I know it is a long list but would be appreciated. The part, an exhaust manifold, I'm decoding now is 70 Torino engine and I think rev B. Here's the number DOOE 9431 B. Thanks

Not quite sure of all your asking but the manifold is a 70-73 351W driver's side maniofld for a Torino or full size car. Actual Ford part number (not casting number) is D0OZ-9431-B. Mustangs in 69 with 351 had a 69 C9 casting. Hope that helps! ::

Is there a reference, either web based or a book (or something) that I can use to do a parts number lookup? I have a had a few questions on part numbers and would like to be able to do it myself and help others with thier questions.

Thanks !
