I had to repair a leak in my R12 system. R12 is horrendously expensive when you can find it. As you know, R-134 in an R12 system cools poorly, requires major modifications, and probably shortens the life of the system. My father in law told me about this product that he's using in his tractor.

I didn't have to change the oil in the system, nor did I have to go to barrier hoses or check valves. Just pump a vacuum and fill 'er up. Well, at an indicated 96 degrees, my system is cooling 50 degrees. By contrast, the A/C in my new S2000 was cooling 48 degrees. Needless to say, I'm happy with the results.
