I started as a beginner until about 25 posts, then became a newbie, and shorlty there after a tire-kicker.I have seen some people start out as newbie's as Charles has said.

I began as a newbie then graduated to beginner. Just 200 more posts to achieve "embryo" status.

Don't know the exact progression, but I believe that your experience on the classifieds since they went to the new format last year counted. I know that I started here as a 'tire-kicker' last week and have progressed to 'beginner'. I just wanna know what it's gonna take to achieve 'court jester' status, like that turkey, bishir*LOL*.

Hey maybe Midlife knows what's going on?

I gave up trying, it seems I've been frozen in time /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Funny you mentioned that, I went from stranger-newbie-beginer-wrench turner.
I also noticed that the title doesn't get changed retroactively on your old posts.

I started out as a stranger, then newbie, then tire kicker, now a beginner, what is next?

I went through the progression from stranger, newbie, etc. Tonight I edited my profile, and came back as a "newbie".

Actually, I think I prefer "stranger". It just seems to confirm the suspicions of others! ;-)
