Has anyone heard of or had any luck using any other front disk conversion. I'm taking about parts that would be available from a salavage yard, maybe later model parts from somthing??? Anyone?

theres the mustang two swap.... for 2 grand you get completely new steering, suspension, etc

as for the junkyard route, ive heard of late model calipers on mustang spindles using some home made brackets.

Your local Mustang shop should have a copy of Ford's publication
"Boss 302 Chassis"; take a look at the part about using Lincoln disc brakes up front.

Granadas, Monarchs, 70-73 Mustangs& Cougars, Comets, & mavericks all have the same disc set-up. 68-69 Mustangs, 68-69 Cougars are the same (small bearing).
