I found the black plastic inside hinge covers for my 65 fastback front seats (hidden underneath the back seat). I would like to reinstall these, but I don't have a clue about what kind of screw (if any) it takes to mount these. Is it possible that they go back on with a retainer clip, much like a cotter pin, on the outside of the cover? I am guessing the fiber or composition washer goes inside the cover. Thanks, Marshall in Madison

The fiber washers should be put on the hinge pins BEFORE the seat back is put back on. They help prevent damage to the upholstery. The cover needs to be installed with a blunted phillips head screw that does NOT extend beyond the inside of the hinge arm with the cover installed.
