I want to put AutoMeter Ultra-Lite gauges in a 6 hole cluster; what is the correct fuel gauge: (I assume this is in ohms)

0 empty – 30 full
0 empty – 90 full
16 empty – 158 full
240 empty – 33 full
73 empty – 10 full?

These are the choices for the fuel gauge according to the Summit catalog. I want to be able to just install and connect w/o any other changes to the fuel sending unit.

This is for a ’66 Mustang w/289 4 speed.

Thanks!

I used the 73 empty / 8-12 full using a stock sending unit.

Hi, I agree with stangg, at least for my '69 fuel sender that approximates what I measured. About 75 ohms empty and about 10 ohms full. Hope installation goes smoothly. jim :)
