Hi VMFer. So here is my situation
I am running a 347 small block 600 Holley DP . I have an electric fuel pump Edelbrock vane type small red one. Says it’s rated at 7 psi. I install it. Fire up care cold gauge on
Dual feed bar reads 12 psi start up. Well at misleading I called Edelbrock they said it may need a regulator. Ok so I install a basic holly unit. Pre set reg running cold 6-7 psi I’m good with that. Once it’s warming up the pressure increases to 9 10 11. I start cranking on regulator to bring it down. No change when I rev it pressure goes down below 8 or so almost to 7 let isle creep up to 9-11 psi. I tried another guage same situation. Is this normal running condition. Running 12 degree BTDC. Vacuum advance hooked up. Total timing 2200 rpm 36 degree
Please chim in on this your thoughts.
!!! Has a new fuel tank new sender unit new fuel lines

Try and set the pressure to 5 psi and see if it will stay below 7 psi. Otherwise replace the regulator with a better setup.

thanks a lot I will try those setting. It’s a brand new regulator. And it operates correctly. After cold start acts up.
