While I have the quarters off i need to repair the last section (rear 21'' in according the mustang part houses) This is really the only part of the frame rail that needs to be replaced, but should i just go ahead and replace the entire thing for means of ease, strength, etc. Thanks for any advice

I wouldn't........I used the 21" sections on my 66 fastback and they came out just fine. As long as your rear torque boxes and frame up and over the axle hump are OK just weld in the rear frame extensions. Be sure to mark and measure everything really well. I made up an alignment jig using 1" square tubing from Home Depot and then did one side at a time using what was left to measure off of. BTW this will be the first time I've been back on this board since they changed it (GRRRR). Couldn't even get my old name back or anything !!!!! Oh well, If you have any questions, just give me a yell.
