My friends Henry and Joey put on a great little get-together once a year and it was today. It was very fun! Richelieu tagged along with me. It was friggin HOT out, 100+ with an equal percentage in humidity, but a good time was had by all. There was a swimming pool that my wife and kids enjoyed while I chewed the fat with my fellow car nuts.

As you can see from the pics, some impressive iron was there. Two Boss 302s, two Boss 429's, two Shelbys, and a nifty 427 powered Thunderbolt clone come to mind...

Definitely my kind of fun - very much like a Corn Feed - all about the people with the cars as a backdrop...

Just thought I'd share.

Sorry I missed it-I was going to go, but decided to spend the day entering my financial nightmare into Quicken, so I can figure out how to get all the bodywork done on the 67 vert without feeding the wife and kids beenie-weenies for the next 4 years. :: Plus, it was toooooo hot yesterday.

Met Joey at Hardees Friday night, briefly, and looked for Bob, but they said you weren't there. I look forward to meeting more VMF'ers in the DSM area.
