After taking off the clamps, there is nothing to pulling off the rubber hose. You will need to take the filler neck off first, then the rubber hose from the tank.

Do not make any sparks and you will not have any problems.

Hope you don't get surprised like I did when I removed the rubber piece. Somebody had cut off the filler tube much shorter than original. I had to get another tube, then the new rubber piece would fit. good luck.

Do we need to tell you about NOT dangling a cigarette from your mouth while you do this?
