I spent the afternoon installing a new gas tank in my Boss 351. For the first time since I've owned it, it doesn't leave a thick brown haze when I start it. It hasn't been driven since '85 and had some really nasty residue in the tank that made it smoke terribly. Now I need to do some tuning, repair the brakes, and repair the exhaust system.

I've been in a slump and haven't felt like working on the cars lately, but a recent post about getting motivated got me to thinking. I'd like to have the car driveable by spring and possibly even the 1/4 panels repaired and the trunk floor replaced. It's not in bad shape and should be a fairly easy resto, I just need to get motivated. I've had it 3 1/2 years and haven't done hardly anything to it, so it's time.
