I know this is a problem that is really difficult to diagnose, but I have to ask for some new ideas, because I am out.
Anyway, I have a newly-rebuilt 351C + C6 in my 69 Mach 1. I get a vibration below about 2500 RPMS when driving, and this seems to happen more when I am under acceleration, but I am not dead sure about this (I am still in the really paranoid state of mind when I am driving it, since the motor has not proven its reliability yet.
The vibration used to be really bad, but since I have had the driveshaft checked for balance and replaced my mis-aligned U joints, it has lessened somewhat, but is not completely gone. Someone suggested changing the transmission mount insulator, which I plan to do this weekend.
Can anyone think of anything else i should try and/or what the possible problems might be?
