Holley 4160 (600 cfm with electric choke) on a Ford Motorsport dual plane hi-rise intake. I THINK the intake is just an Edlebrock Performer RPM that they cast with a Ford oval and sell through Ford Racing.

Wow! Must be your intake manifold. I have the concours repro air cleaner and have about an inch clearance with the straight bar. Just don't ask me to remove my distributor cap easily, I have to reach inside and pop the rotor first.

If you look at old shelbys that came with them the X bar is attached to the very front of the bracket
It almost looks like they missed the bracket and filled in the end of the tube with weld. I think they did that on purpose.
