I'd be all over this if it was close by. I bet it could be bought for $500. It would be fun just to show people I'm not afraid to drive an exploding gas tank Pinto!

Funny how the floor shift bezel in 1980 still looks so much like a '65.

One of my uncles bought a brand new '68 Bronco with a 289 and "3 on the tree". The 4WD selector was mounted on the floor and as I recall it looked exactly like a Mustang AT shifter- bezel, shift handle, everything about it!

And about 2 miles from my shop. But after driving a ‘78 Pinto through most of high school, I’m not really dying for another one. They were crap then, and I can’t imagine time has improved them any.
