Thanks for the concern, but I am definitly not getting crazy with the Mach 1. The tires are too old for that. Also way too much traffic, hard to go fast if you want to.

Getting the car ready for next months MAA drive. It's dumping fuel into the secondaries. Tried adjusting the float already. It can idle now, but I'm going to have him look at it anyway.
The bad thing is, he says a new carb is about the same price as to rebuild it??
But it's only a year or two old. Granted it's been sitting for over 8 months without starting. But the last 650 DP I had replaced was over seven years old without a problem. And that's with the same storage as I do now.
Are the new carbs just junk?? I think I'm going to have him rebuild this one instead. Maybe the rebuild parts are superior to a new carb. Cause one or two years out of this one isn't right.
But maybe it's just gummed up inside, and needs a thorough cleaning! We'll see.
The 45th Anniversary is just around the corner!
