looks like a little surface rust, it will come off as soon as he gets on the road

Congrats Mustang81, where did you pull your conversion from?

guy i work for put a rack and pinion set up on his ranchero so he gave the disks and power steering to me

my spelling is as bad as yours, so take this with a smile: It's "disc brakes" not "disk breaks".

btw, did it all bolt up? what modifications?

ya I guess my college education is really paying off. I was kind of excited but I knew it didnt look right. The only difference is that the strut rods studs that were on my mustang dont line up with the holes in the control arms. I guess I have to use the ranchero ones for that. They look the same but I guess i gotta figure it out. Otherwise it bolted right up. Its almost a rolling chassis. It was originally a straight 6 with 4 wheel drum, now it has 4 wheel "disc"
