Hello All,

I have a set of 78 Granada spindles. I also recently parted out a 78 Versailles, and kept all of the front brake parts. Will the Versailles rotors and calipers work with the Granada spindles, or will I have to use the Versailles spindles.

Thanks in Advance,

Clarifiaction: The spindle hole is different on the Granada/Monarch/Versailes spindle. I think those 3 cars all used the same spindle

I learned the hard way that Lincoln spindles use the same parts as the Granada.
Everything is the same except for the larger lower ball joint hole on the Lincoln spindle. Had the whole setup done and was finishing up tightening things when I realized I couldn't turn the wheels and more, doh :p

The 2 holes where the ball joints "go in", there are different sizes for the granada VS the versailles.

The granada spindle holes MATCH up to the mustang ball joints.

The versailles spindle holes DO NOT match.

www.mustangsteve.com sells an adapter which makes possible a versailles spindle to mustang pairing.

To clarify your "clarification"....

Upper spindle hole is the same for all 3 - Mustang, Granada, and Versailles.

Lower spindle hole is the same for Mustang and Granada, but larger for Verasilles.

Tie rod hole is smaller on 69-earlier Mustang, same size for 70-up Mustang, Granada, and Versailles.
