have finish resto on my 69 Grade 351
when buying parts i brought all new front end stuff everythink, including what was suppose to be 50mm lower coils.
when doing the coils, i measure and eyeballed the new and old and sure enough 50,, (2inch) lower
installed in the car, motor in, everything bolted up
But WTF, i stll have 4 inches between the guard and top of tire,
reading other forums, it mentions the top and bottom guides
first install of springs, yes, wrong
so iam pretty confident they are in the wright way
so any help
i would like that low at the front look
the springs maybe shorter but super stiff
so maybe even a part number orlengty or number of coils
thanks

Moog 8534 coils for big block car. I have them in my 70 with 390. It used to have a small block. You may need to cut a 1/4 coil, but only after install and checking ride height

Did you let the weight of the car come down with the tires on the ground before tightening thrower control arm pivot points?
