Hi all,

I just added a grant custom steering wheel to my 71 coupe. The instructions mention that if the gap between the new post cover and the steering wheel post is too large, loosen the bolts under the dash and adjust the steering column to fit better. Having loosened the bolts that I could see, needless to say the gap remains, and nothing would budge. I am sure I did not loosen the correct ones, any hints???

It should slide up to take care of gap. I agree that Grant wheels are not the best choice. The Le carra one I put on my car looks and fits much better. Grant has some foam rubber spacers and center cap falls off etc. Gary

Nice choice on the Grant steering wheel. I think they look great and are not tacky, and they are one of the most affordable upgrades I have done to my '73 coupe.
