today i found an AOD for 50 bucks at the local swap meet. now hopefully ill have the money this winter/spring to put it all together and get it behind my 351 :) but first i gotta create some traction bars b/c with the new power trax i get some wheel hop off the line :(

Correct flex plate (doesn't apply to 351w), custom x-member, custom wiring harness, custom shift linkage, longer tranny to block bolts, and a TV cable/rod. Then if you have the short tail shaft AOD and the AOD yoke, it's a direct bolt in. Some exhaust work may be necessary, as it's much wider than, say, a C4.

Windsor Fox sells the x-member, shift linkage, and even the flex plate. Easiest way to do the TV rod/cable is with the Lokar cable. The wiring harness is simple enough to fabricate if you have the part that plugs into the AOD.

got a question, will my c4 convertor work on the AOD?? or do i need a new one?
