I can get a new set of heads for $400...is this the going rate or should I keep looking? Also, I have PS...any clearance issues? TIA.

With stock valves, springs, etc., that's a reasonable price. Power steering clearance should be the same as any other stock cast iron head. Search the VMF for Huskinhano's GT40P mini page for pics and other info.

Thanks for the quick reply. The guys selling them are "Cylinder Head Connection" up around your way...Youngstown I think. Ever heard of them? I'd seen the GT40P mini page, very informative. Trying to learn more!

in researching these heads and with Tom's expertise....The heads have 60 cc combustion chambers, a roatated spark plug angle (which requires the use of mac or FMS headers) these heads flow better than the GT40 heads on older mustang cobras....(at lower valve heights) and are equal to them at higher valve lifts.

the heads burn clean enough not to require the thermactor air pump system....

good bang for the buck at $400 IMHO
