I wanted to share with you my experience on the 66'. I installed two components that really made a performance difference. I bought them from Cobra Automotive "http://www.cobraautomotive.com/images/struts.jpg"

The front strut rods are heim jointed and dramatically improving handling under hard braking. (See link above)

The second is a rollerized idler arm kit that really tightens up your steering and yet reduces effort. (66' has manual steering)

I have no reason to promote this company other than I feel it's important to share things I feel will really help and are worth the $$. I have bought hundreds of dollars of stuff from these guys and always been happy.

You have to drill a hole through the support that holds the web that is sandwiched by the strut rod bushings.

They reccommend cutting out the web but I left it in place and drilled the hole slightly aft so I could return to "like new" in the future by welding up the hole and reinstalling the regular bushings

You know what...I do.

But I need to find a place to post them as I have been having trouble with my ISP (Netcom) since they were bought by Mindspring. The old way I used to post to my website doesn't work anymore and when I follow their directions for FTP I can't connect.
